Is the cabin dog or pet friendly
To maintain the peace of the cabins and protect the cabin's meadow surroundings, we do not allow dogs or other pets. This ensures every visit is a tranquil, restorative escape.
EV Charging
For guests travelling in electric vehicles, EV charging is available on site, making The Hiveaway a convenient option for a sustainable off-grid cabin escape in Wales. Please let us know in advance if you’ll need to use the charger so we can ensure it’s ready for your arrival.
Is there wifi in the cabins?
The Hiveaway is designed as a digital detox retreat, so there’s no Wi-Fi or television. However, we do have a strong 4G connection, so you can get online if you need to check emails or stay connected while still enjoying a romantic weekend getaway in Wales.

How do we check in?
The cabin offers self check-in from 3:00pm, so you can arrive and start unwinding at your own pace. We live on site and are always just a phone call away if you need assistance. During your stay, you may spot us and our friendly (though enthusiastic!) dogs roaming the grounds.
Where do we park and how far is the walk to the cabins?
On-site parking is provided. From the car park, it’s a 4-minute stroll along a stone path to the cabins. A handy wheelbarrow is provided to transport your luggage—perfect for making your romantic weekend getaway in Wales effortless. Please return it at the end of your stay.
Do the cabins have a hot tub?
Yes both our cabins do! Our wood-fired hot tubs are perfect for soaking under the stars during a romantic weekend getaway in Wales.
It takes around 4 hours to fill and heat the tubs. We provide:

Is there electricity and charging available?
Yes. The cabin has USB charging points and low-wattage sockets, suitable for phones and small devices. High-power appliances like hairdryers are not supported, keeping your off-grid cabin escape in Wales peaceful.
What time is check-out and what do we need to do?
Check-out is 10:00am. Before leaving your romantic meadow cabin in West Wales, please:

Place used linen in the cloth bag provided

Empty bins into the outside metal bin (not glass)

Close all windows and turn off lights

Leave the key in a visible place inside the cabin
